Cultural heritage of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh

Despite all of the upheavals provoked by the contact period and the massive arrival of new colonists, the Pekuakamiulnuatsh remain established at Pointe-Bleue where they have retained the fundamental elements of their culture, which has succeeded in surviving for many decades.  Also the language, life-style, habits and customs and even a technical contribution reminds us of the importance of their presence in the territory.
