Frequenting the territory
With the upheavals suffered by the activities, hunting, fishing and trapping could no longer be practised at the same rhythm or to the same degree as before. The reduction in many animal species, particularly big game, fish and fur bearing animals, signals a significant deterioration in the environment.
This situation affected considerably the daily connection that the Pekuakamiulnuatsh had with their territory. Advances in technology and sedentary life, little by little, distanced the Pekuakamiulnuatsh from their natural environment.
