The Quebec nations
Within the geographic limits of Quebec, eleven (11) Aboriginal Nations exist, grouped in three great linguistic families: the Algonquin, the Iroquoi and the Esquimau-Alouette (Inuit) families. In extracting the latter, the two main linguistic families are tied to nomadic (Algonquin) and sedentary activities (Iroquoï) respectively.
